Most Emotion is a video production company
based in Germany, ran by filmmaker Stefan Burkhardt. Stefan came to
me for support with creating a visual identity for the company that would communicate the brand name
and its mission, to make emotions visible through film.
Several development phases, starting with research
into
the
industry and the brand, helped to craft an understanding of the competitive landscape and Most Emotion's
position in it. This research influenced the production of several logo concepts, from which
one was chosen and developed into the final logo.
Communicating the mission and the purpose of the company was achieved by combining
design elements from camera lens aperature
rings and eyes, said to be the windows to a person's soul and emotions. Having
a distinctive icon which could be used as part of, or separate to, the main logo design allows for
wider application across various media.
